Ali Engemann

Development Coordinator

Ali Engemann, Biddeford, Maine is the Development Coordinator for Friends of Katahdin Woods and Waters. Ali was born and raised in Western New York where she spent her formative years splashing in creeks, exploring deciduous forests and playing in the lake-effect snow. She fell in love with outdoor recreation and protecting public land over the past 10 years while living in the Pacific Northwest. Ali got her BA at Ohio Wesleyan University in Environmental Studies and Geography and has spent most of her career in the environmental and public health nonprofit space working in donor relations, community engagement and business operations. Ali moved to Maine in December, 2024 with her husband and dog and now has a 1 year old son. She enjoys any time spent outside, camping with family, practicing yoga and gardening.
